With the confiscation of Mendizábal property in 1835 , it was sold to the State and used as an electrical factory and school . In 1893, it was converted into a private home.

In 1973, it was acquired by the current owners, who carried out a thorough renovation to modernize it while preserving its original character . Since then, numerous restoration and improvement projects have been carried out on the home.
